This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking regular bail.
2. The applicant is an accused in Crime No.494/2025 of Railway Police Station, Palakkad District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 14 3 (5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita , 2023 and Section 14 (3) (a) r/w Section 3 of Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act , 1986.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on
14.11.2025 at 12.40 pm, the applicant was found by police with four minor childrens, who are the natives of Bihar at platform No.3 of Palakkad Junction Railway Station. It is also alleged that, the applicant kidnapped the children who were being trafficked for child labour and thus the applicant is alleged to have committed the aforesaid offences.
4. I have heard Sri. P.U.Vinod Kumar, the learned counsel for the applicant and Sri. U. Jayakrishnan, the learned public prosecutor. Perused the case diary.
