ORDER
This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking regular bail.
2. The applicant is the accused No.4 in Crime No.1584/2025 of Parassala Police Station, Thiruvananthapuram District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 22 (c), 8(c) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act , 1985 (for short, the NDPS Act).
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on
09.10.2025 at about 12.50 hours, the accused No.1 was found in possession of 13.29 gms of MDMA for the purpose of sale in front of Sona Agencies, Kurumkutty, Parassala Village in contravention of the provisions of the NDPS Act. During investigation it was revealed that the accused No.2 had sent ₹600/- to one Bejoy, a friend of the accused No.1 as travelling charge for going to Bangalore to procure the contraband. Thereafter the accused No.3 obtained the contraband from the applicant and supplied it to the accused No.1 and thereby committed the offences.
