JUDGMENT

Dated this the 5th day of January, 2026 The petitioner passed her LLB course and was issued a provisional certificate by the University of Calicut on 24.12.2025. When the final semester results were published on 19.11.2025, it was revealed that the petitioner had failed in one subject. The petitioner, therefore, applied for re-evaluation and upon revaluation the petitioner was declared to have passed in that subject. The result of the revaluation was published only on 23.12.2025 and the provisional certificate issued on 24.12.2025. As a result, the petitioner was not able to apply for enrollment within the last date fixed by the Bar Council of Kerala viz. 19.11.2025. The petitioner, therefore seeks a direction to the Bar Council of Kerala to accept the application and include her in the enrollment session scheduled on 10th and 11th of January 2026. 2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the delay in issuing provisional certificate and consequently, in submitting the application for enrollment is not for reasons attributable to the petitioner.
