This application is filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking pre-
arrest bail.
2. The applicant is the accused No.2 in Crime No.564/2025 of the Kurathikadu Police Station, Alappuzha District. The offence alleged is punishable under Section 420 r/w Section 34 of IPC (Section 318(4) r/w Section 3(5) of BNS, 2023).
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that the applicant and her husband, who is the accused No.1, in order to make unlawful gain to them and unlawful loss to the defacto complainant, promised to secure admission for MBBS Course for the defacto complainant's daughter at CSI Medical College, Karakkonam, for the academic year 2024-2025, fraudulently obtained an amount of Rs.43,85,000/- from the defacto complainant through bank transfers during the period from 09.05.2024 to 23.09.2024 and they neither arranged
