JUDGMENT
The issue involved in this writ petition is whether transfer of registry can be made in the name of a limited liability partnership in respect of an asset which has been brought into the partnership by a partner.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the issue involved in this writ petition is covered by Ext.P7 judgment, and that the similar issue has been considered and covered by another judgment in Thali Traders Pvt. Ltd. v. the State of Kerala [2024 (4) KLT
722].
4. Learned Government Pleader has no quarrel that the issue is covered by Ext.P7 judgment.
5. In the circumstances, Ext.P6 rejection Order will stand quashed. Consequently, there will be a direction to the 3rd respondent Tahsildar to effect transfer of registry in the name of the 1st petitioner LLP in respect of 8.09 Ares of land comprised Re-survey No.545/16 of Kakkanad Village and another extent of 8.09 Ares of land comprised in Re-survey No.545/17 of Kakkanad Village. Let the above direction be complied within a period of three weeks from the date of production of a copy of this judgment. The petitioners
