JUDGMENT The petitioner participated in the ‘Nangiar Koothu’
(Girls) HSS competition in the Kozhikode Revenue District School Kalolsavam and secured third position with 'A' grade. Aggrieved by the result, the petitioner preferred an appeal, which the Appeal Committee rejected as per Ext.P4. Hence, this Writ Petition.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the stage on which the ‘Nangiar Koothu’ competition was conducted was shaking, since the planks were not fixed properly. Even though this was raised as a ground in the appeal, the Appeal Committee passed the impugned order without adverting to that ground.
3. Learned Government pleader submits that the Appeal Committee having rejected the appeal after considering all relevant aspects, no interference is warranted in exercise of this Court’s extraordinary jurisdiction under Article 2
