ORDER
This application is filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking pre-arrest bail.
2. The applicant is the accused No.1 in Crime No.1977/2025 of North Paravur Police Station, Ernakulam District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 406 and 420 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code .
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that in order to cause wrongful loss to the husband of the defacto complainant and wrongful gain to the accused, they promised that they will arrange work visa abroad. Based on the representation, the husband of the defacto complainant sent amount to the account of the applicant and the other accused. A total amount of Rs.5,75,000/- was received by the accused promising to arrange work visa abroad for the husband of the defacto complainant.
