JUDGMENT

The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:-

i. Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the 1st respondent to provide electric connection to the petitioner's building bearing No. X/1504(UA) of Munnar Panchayath without insisting NOC from the revenue authorities.

ii. Direct the 1st respondent to consider the exhibit P2 application of the petitioner and provide electricity connection within stipulated time.

iii.Issue such other writ, order or direction as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the Case.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the 1st respondent submits that the petitioner’s application is not in the prescribed format, and if a proper application is made, orders will be passed on the same in accordance with law, within 15 days from the date of receipt of the application. This is recorded.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the petitioner to make an application in the prescribed format and on receipt of the same, the 1st respondent shall pass orders in accordance with law, within 15 days from the date of receipt of the application. All the contention
