JUDGMENT
The petitioner along with other legal heirs claims title to 88 cents of land in Survey No.1131 of Peerumedu Village. The property was originally obtained by Ext.P1 Assignment Deed by the petitioner’s mother. The petitioner produced Ext.P2 Legal Heirship certificate, and sought for transfer of registry. The property was not mutated in favour of the petitioner’s mother as well. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that almost one year had elapsed, since the filing of Ext.P6 application for transfer of registry. The same has not been acted upon, is the short grievance.
2. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader, this Court directs the 2nd respondent Tahsildar to consider Ext.P6 application in accordance with law, expeditiously, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. The petitioner will produce a copy of this judgment before the 2nd respondent, for compliance.
This Writ Petition is disposed of as above.
