IN THE HIGH COURT OF KERALA AT ERNAKULAM
HARISANKAR V. MENON, J
INDIRAMMA – Appellant
Versus
THE BRANCH MANAGER, THE KAVIYOOR SERVICE CO-OPERATIVE BANK LTD. – Respondent
JUDGMENT
The petitioner has filed the captioned writ petition, pointing out that she had obtained certain credit facilities from the 1st respondent Bank during 2014, and seeking to challenge Ext.P3 notice issued by the 2nd respondent, proceeding to take action against the petitioner’s properties for realisation of the arrears in the loan account.
2. Though this writ petition has been admitted on
19.10.2023, no interim orders have been granted by this Court.
3. The learned counsel for the 1st respondent Bank seeks a short adjournment to obtain instructions regarding the present outstanding loan amount in the name of the petitioner. However, in the nature of the prayers made in this writ petition, I am of the opinion that this writ petition can be disposed of as under:
i. The petitioner to file an appropriate representation before the 1st respondent Bank seeking regularisation, if not already closed, within a period of four weeks from today.
ii. The 1st respondent Bank to pass appropriate orders on the application to be filed as above, within a further period of eight weeks thereafter, strictly in accordance with law.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
