JUDGMENT
Dated this the 6th day of January, 2026 The petitioner participated for Bharatanatyam, Kuchuppudi and Kerala Nadanam competitions during the Kollam Revenue District School Kalolsavam 2025- 2026. The petitioner secured 'A' Grade in Baratanatyam and Kuchuppudi, and 2nd rank with 'A' grade in Kerala Nadanam. Aggrieved by the result of Kerala Nadanam competition, the petitioner preferred an Appeal, which the Appeal Committee rejected as per Ext.P1, hence this writ petition is filed.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that his client's performance was impeded by reason of a safety pin on the stage pricking his the heel and in spite of this being raised as a ground, the Appeal committee passed the impugned order without adverting to that aspect.
3. Learned Government Pleader submits that the well reasoned order of the Appeal Committee warrants no interference by this Court in exercise of the power under the Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
4. A perusal of the impugned order shows that the decision to reject petitioner's appeal was taken after verifying the score sheet, consolidated score sheet, stage manager's report and after hearing the petitioner. Moreover,
