JUDGMENT
The limited relief sought for by the petitioner is for a direction to repay the entire amount due under two chit transactions as well as two loan transactions entered into between the petitioner and the second respondent, by way of instalments.
2. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent, and the learned Government Pleader, I am of the view that this writ petition can be disposed of.
3. The learned Standing Counsel submitted that an amount of Rs.34,000,33/- is due from the petitioner as liability under two chit transactions as well as under two loans availed by him. Due to the default in repayment, revenue recovery proceedings were initiated as Exhibit-P1, Exhibit-P1(a), Exhibit-P1(b) and Exhibit-P1(c). It was submitted that the second respondent is willing to accept repayment in reasonable instalments.
4. In view of the nature of liability due from the petitioner and in view of the above submissions, I am satisfied that petitioner can be given the benefit of repayment in instalments.
Accordingly, there will be a direction to the second respondent to accept repayment of the entire amount of Rs.34,00,033/- along
