27.01.2026, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY PASSED THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R Dated this the 27th day of January, 2026 The Criminal Miscellaneous Case is filed to direct the Additional Sessions Court-II, Manjeri (Trial Court), to consider and dispose of S.C.No.1333/2024, expeditiously.
2. Pursuant to the direction of this Court, the Trial Court, by communication dated 16.01.2026, has informed this Court that, as the case is of the year 2024 and there is delay in receiving the Forensic Science Laboratory Report (FSL), the Trial Court requires one year’s time to consider and dispose of S.C. No.1333/2024 from the date on which the FSL report is received. 3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor.
On a consideration of the facts and materials on record, without expressing anything on the merits of the matter, I dispose of the Crl.M.C, by directing the Trial Court to consider and dispose of S.C. No.1333/2024, in accordance with law, and as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within one year from the date of receipt of the FSL report.
