Non-reporting of vehicle seizure restricts petitioner's ability to seek vehicle release.

J U D G M E N T

The petitioner has filed this captioned writ petition pointing out that, though a vehicle owned by him was seized by the 1^st respondent on the basis of an alleged violation of the provisions of the Kerala Minor Mineral Concession Rules , 2015, the seizure as above was not reported before the 2^nd respondent, on account of which, the petitioner is not in a position to seek for release of the vehicle in question.

2. While admitting the writ petition on

05.09.2023, this Court had directed the 1^st respondent to report the seizure of the vehicle in question to the 2^nd respondent within three days and permitted the petitioner to approach the

2^nd respondent for release of vehicle in question.

In the light of the afore, I am of the opinion that no further orders are required in this writ petition. In such circumstances, this writ petition would stand disposed of in terms of the interim order dated 05.09.2023.
