IN THE HIGH COURT OF KERALA AT ERNAKULAM
HARISANKAR V. MENON, J
ABDUL KABEER – Appellant
Versus
THE SUB INSPECTOR OF POLICE, MALAPPURAM POLICE STATION – Respondent
J U D G M E N T
The petitioner has filed this captioned writ petition pointing out that, though a vehicle owned by him was seized by the 1st respondent on the basis of an alleged violation of the provisions of the Kerala Minor Mineral Concession Rules , 2015, the seizure as above was not reported before the 2nd respondent, on account of which, the petitioner is not in a position to seek for release of the vehicle in question.
2. While admitting the writ petition on
05.09.2023, this Court had directed the 1st respondent to report the seizure of the vehicle in question to the 2nd respondent within three days and permitted the petitioner to approach the
2nd respondent for release of vehicle in question.
In the light of the afore, I am of the opinion that no further orders are required in this writ petition. In such circumstances, this writ petition would stand disposed of in terms of the interim order dated 05.09.2023.
