JUDGMENT

Dated this the 27th day of January, 2026 Deputy Solicitor General of India submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 05.12.2025, the petitioner was cleared in Physical Efficiency Test giving the benefit of rounding off, provisionally subject to further orders in this writ petition. However, in the subsequent Detailed Medical Examination, the petitioner has failed. Therefore, the writ petition has become infructuous.

2. The question of rounding off of height and whether it is to be applied at the PST stage and DME stage, is left open.

The writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
