JUDGMENT
The above writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs:
“i. To issue a Writ in the nature of Certiorari or any other appropriate Writ, order or direction calling for the records leading to the issuance of Ext.P4 voters list and quash the same to the extend it is in violation of the terms in Ext.P2.
ii. To issue a Writ in the nature of a declaration or any other appropriate Writ, order or direction declaring that publication of Ext.P4 voters list in violation of Ext.P2 circular is illegal, arbitrary, discriminatory, against the procedure established by law and therefore, liable to be interfered with.
iii. Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus, direction or order directing the respondents to take immediate action to correct the irregularities deliberately made in Ext.P4 voters list in violation of the terms of Ext.P2 forthwith for the smooth and timely completion of the election process of the Kudumbashree three-tier system iv. Issue a Writ in the nature of declaration that the inaction/omission on the part of the Respondents 4 , 6 and 7 to promptly respondent to Ext.P5 complaint is illegal, arbitrary and unreasonable.
v. Dispense the petitioner from filing the English translation of the documents in vernacular language produced along with this writ petition.
vi. Pass such other orders as the petitioner may pray for and this Honourable court deems fit to grant in the circumstances of the case.” [SIC]
2. When this writ petition came up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader, after getting instructions, submitted that the grievances raised by the petitioner and others were redressed and the Special Government Pleader made available a proceedings of the member Secretary, Kudumbasree to the District Mission Co-ordinator dated 24.01.2026. If that be the case, no further direction is necessary in this case. The petitioner is free to approach the Panchayat for getting the voters list and the Panchayat will issue the same, in accordance with law.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is closed.
