JUDGMENT

The prayer in the original petition is for early disposal of I.D. No.27/2019 pending before the Central Government Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Ernakulam. At the time of admission, a report had been called for from the Presiding Officer regarding the time that would be required to dispose of the application. A report dated 20.01.2026 has been received wherein it is stated that Camp Sittings are being conducted at Ernakulam by the Presiding Officer, CGIT-cum-Labour Court, Chennai and the next sitting is in the month of March, 2026. It is also stated that at least six months’ time is required for disposing of the case.

In the above circumstances, this original petition is disposed of, directing the Central Government Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Ernakulam to consider and dispose of I.D. No.27/2019 at the earliest, at any rate, within seven months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
