This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS ) seeking regular bail.

2. The applicants are the accused Nos.1 to 3 in Crime No.1438/2025 of Kunnamkulam Police Station, Thrissur District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 189 (2), 189(4), 191(3), 126(2), 118(1), 110 and 190 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 .

The prosecution case, in short, is that the accused persons 1 to 5 with their common intention to commit riot during the festival at Pulinchodu Kothodu temple, threw soda bottles against ladies and children with an intention to make riot. As a result, one child named Charan sustained injuries. The applicant No.1 voluntarily caused hurt to Akshay, who was present there with a stick, when the defacto complainant tried to prevent the act of the accused, the applicant No.1 threw a soda bottle at the head of the defacto complainant and he sustained injuries at his ear.
