JUDGMENT

The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the 1st respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner for renewal/re-issuance of the passport, notwithstanding the pendency of Crime No.363/2019 of Hemambika Police Station, Palakkad.

2. The learned counsel for the 2nd respondent submits that the application is pending consideration.

3. Taking note of the above, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the same, in accordance with law, within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. However, he shall leave the country only after getting permission from the court concerned.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
