JUDGMENT

The above Writ Petition (C) is filed with the following prayers:

"a) a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction directing the 1^st respondent to expedite the proceedings in Ext.P2 and pass appropriate orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon'ble Court, b) a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or direction directing the 2^nd respondent to submit necessary reports to the 1^st respondent pertaining to Ext.P2 application of the petitioner at the earliest, c) This Hon’ble Court may kindly exempt the petitioner in producing the translated copy of Ext. P1 document, and d) such other reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the nature of this case."

2. When this Writ Petition came up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to consider Ext. P2 Form – 5 application within a time frame.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader.

4. After hearing both sides, I think there can be a direction to consider Ext.P2 application within a time frame.
