This matter concerns the proposed construction of a counterfort on the southern side of the compound wall of t he Perumon Sree Maha Vishnu Kshethram to ensure structural stability and safety.
2. By order dated 21.11.2025, this Court directed the Executive Engineer to obtain a p roper soil testing certificate from a competent authority and to file a fresh comprehensive report, along with a scientifically prepared structural design and detailed plan, before this Court within a period of six weeks.
3. In compliance with the said direction, the Executive Engineer has submitted a fresh report with requisite technical details. As per the detailed estimate prepared on t he basis of the borehole test results and log sheets, the total e stimated amount for the proposed work comes to Rs. 44,10,000/- (Rupees Forty-Four Lakhs Ten Thousand only).
4. In view of the technical requirements and the structural necessity of the proposed work, we are satisfied that approval and permission can be granted for the aforesaid construction work.
