Dated this the 20th January, 2026 JUDGMENT M.B.Snehalatha. J This appeal arises from the judgment and decree in O.P.No.655/2014 of Family Court, Ernakulam.
2. When this appeal came up for hearing today, the leamed counsel appearing for both sides submitted that the disputes between the parties have been settled and they have entered into a compromise and a compromise statement under Order XXIII Rule 3 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 has been filed before this Court.
3. We have examined the compromise entered into between the parties and we notice that it has been signed by the parties and subscribed by their counsel. The terms of the compromise are lawful and therefore the settlement arrived at by the parties is accepted.
4. In view of the compromise statement and the settlement arrived at between the parties, Mat.A No.296/2020 is disposed of in terms of the settlement.

5. The parties are directed to act implicitly in terms of the compromise statement and shall comply all the terms therein, which do form part of this judgment.

Babu Appellanth'etitioner V/s Jaivee Mohan & 2 0thers Respondents/Respondents COMPROMISE STATEMENT FILED BY THE PARTIES IN THE ABOVE APPEAL UNDER 0RDER 23 RULE 3 0F THH CODH OF CIVIL PROCEDURE 1908 The appellant and the respondents in the above appeal have settled the subject matter of the dispute in the above matrimonial appeal on the following terms and conditions.
1. The respondents in this appeal have already retumed 7.5 Sovereigns of gold omarnents to the appellant on 12/11/2025 in the Execution Petition No. 28 of
2024 in OP No. 655 of 2014 before the Family Court, Emakulam.
2. The respondents in this appeal shall further retum 5.5 Sovereigns of gold omaments more to the appellant on or before 21/07/2026 and failing which the appellant can execute this compromise decree as per law.
3. The appellant has given up any further claim in the above appeal, over and above the 5.5 Sovereigns of gold omaments as agreed in clause 2 above.

4. The respondents have given up their claim in the decree passed in the counter claim in the above OP No. 655 of 2014 by the Family Court, Emakulam.
5. The parties shall bear their respective cost.
6. Terms of this compromise shall form pat of the decree to be passed in the above appeal.
