ORDER Dated this the 20th day of January, 2026 These revision petitions are filed challenging the order of the Additional District Judge-III, Palakkad in O.P.(Electricity) No.52 of 2013. The original petition was filed by the revision petitioner in CRP No.51 of 2020 (hereinafter called 'the claimant'), being dissatisfied with the compensation awarded towards the damage and loss sustained due to erection of tower and drawing of 400 KV lines across his property by the Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd (hereinafter called 'the Corporation'). The essential facts are as under;
The claimant is in ownership and possession of landed property having an extent of 0.5356 hectares comprised in Re Sy.Nos. 289/3 and 289/4 of Vandithavalam Village in Chittur Taluk. The land was cultivated with various yielding and non- yielding trees. According to the claimant, to facilitate drawing of the lines to ensure smooth transmission of power, large number of trees were cut from his property.
