JUDGMENT

The appeal is filed by the legal heirs of the claimant in O.P.

(MV) No.464 of 2018 on the file of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Pathanamthitta. The said claim petition was filed by the appellants herein, claiming an amount of ₹12,00,250/- as compensation for the injuries sustained by the claimant in a motor accident occurred on 12.02.2018. The tribunal awarded an amount of ₹4,97,000/- as compensation under different heads, directing the respondent insurer to deposit the said amount along with interest at the rate of 8% per annum from the date of petition till the date of realization. Disputing the quantum of compensation awarded, the appellant has come up with this appeal.
