J U D G M E N T
The writ petition is filed with the following prayers:-
I) to issue a writ of certiorari or any other appropriate writ, order or direction to call for the records leading to Ext.P11 and to quash the same;
II) Award cost of these proceedings to the petitioner.
2. The brief facts of the case, as stated in the writ petition, are as follows:-
The petitioner, who is the son of the first respondent, was gifted a property admeasuring 70 cents, comprised in Re-Sy.Nos. 28 and 23 of Vellora Village, Taliparamba Taluk, Kannur District, by his father, as per registered Gift Deed No. 2754/2010 of the Sub Registrar Office, Mathamangalam, marked as Ext.P1. Pursuant thereto, the petitioner effected mutation of the property in his name and has been remitting land tax in respect thereof.
The first respondent was granted a life interest to reside in the house situated in the said property, and accordingly,
