JUDGMENT
The petitioner challenges Ext.P5 order passed by the Additional Registering Authority, Kanjirappally, by which the application submitted by the petitioner for the enhancement of the number of seats was rejected. The specific case of the petitioner is that the said order was passed without hearing him.
2. In view of the above contention, this court passed an order on 20.01.2026 directing the learned Government Pleader to get instructions as to whether the petitioner was heard before passing Ext.P5 order.
3. Today, when the matter is taken up, the learned Government Pleader submits that the petitioner was not heard before passing Ext.P5 order. This is recorded.
4. Accordingly, Ext.P5 order is quashed. There will be a direction to the first respondent to pass fresh orders on the application preferred by the petitioner, with notice to him and in accordance with law, within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
The writ petition is disposed of as above.
