JUDGMENT
The writ petition is filed with the following prayers.
“i) To issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ, direction or order, directing the first respondent to grant additional trip between Malappuram and Manjeri utilising the idle time, without any change in the existing timings in respect of Stage Carriage KL-55/AM 6245 on the route Tirur -Manjeri by considering Exhibit P2 application along with Exhibit P3 and similar representations submitted by various educational institutions seeking convenience of the students, expeditiously, at any rate within a time to be fixed by this Hon’ble Court, in the interest of justice.
ii) To issue any other appropriate writ, direction or order which this Hon’ble Court deem fit in the circumstances of the case.
iii) To dispense with the filing of translation of vernacular documents;”
2. Taking note of the fact that the petitioner's application for variation of the permit is pending consideration before the first respondent, the said respondent is directed to pass orders on the same, in accordance with law, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
