JUDGMENT

The above writ petition has been filed seeking police protection to the petitioner, its staff and employees to carry out business activities, loading and unloading of goods, without any hindrance from respondents 6 to 9.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after filing of the writ petition, the workers have obtained 26A cards and only those workers who are having 26A card are being engaged in the loading and unloading activities.

3. Learned counsel appearing for respondents 6 to 9 submits that they have already challenged the issuance of 26A cards and the appeals were allowed, against which a writ petition was filed by the petitioner and interim order has been granted by this Court. In the light of the above, the learned counsel appearing for respondents 6 to 9 submits that they are not intending to object to the loading and unloading in the petitioner establishment by engaging workers having 26A cards. The said submission is recorded.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is closed, leaving open the right of the petitioner to approach respondents 2 and 3 for police protection as and when required.
