ORDER
This application is filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking pre-
arrest bail.
2. The applicant is the sole accused in Crime No.1022/2025 of Hosdurg Police Station, Kasargod District. The offence alleged is punishable under Section 318 (4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita , 2023.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that the applicant with an intention to cheat the defacto complainant, obtained a total sum of Rs.3,40,000/- on 15.11.2023 and 13.05.2024 from the defacto complainant under the pretext of arranging a visa for the defacto complainant, but no visa was arranged nor money was returned and thereby committed the above offence.
4. I have heard Sri.T.Sanjay, the learned counsel for the applicant and Sri.M.C.Ashi, the learned Senior Public Prosecutor.

5. The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant is innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case. The counsel further submitted that no materials are on record to connect the applicant with the alleged crime;
