O R D E R Dated this the 29^th day of January, 2026 The petitioners are the accused in C.C.No.137/2016 on the file of the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ernakulam (Trial Court), which has originated from Crime No.1641/2011 registered by the Aluva East Police Station, Ernakulam alleging the commission of the offences punishable under Sections 4 06 , 420, 120(b) and 201 r/w Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code and , 5 and 6 of the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act ,1978.

2. The petitioners have invoked the inherent jurisdiction of this Court under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023, to quash all further proceedings in the above case. It is asserted that the dispute that led to the registration of the crime has been amicably settled between the petitioners and the respondents 2 to 14, who have executed Annexures II to XV affidavits, affirming the settlement.

3. I have heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Public Prosecutor.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Public Prosecutor submit that, with the intervention of relatives and well-wishers, the parties have resolv
