JUDGMENT

The Prayers in this Original Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India are as follows:-

“1. Direct the Hon’ble Vth Additional Sessions Court - Ernakulam to hear and pass judgment in Crl.A.No.595/2024 within a period of 2 months.

2.Grant such other reliefs as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice, equity and law. ”

2. On 12.01.2026, this Court directed the Registry to obtain a report from the Court concerned on the time required for the disposal of the matter.

3. A report has been obtained from the Additional District and Sessions Court - V, Ernakulam stating that the matter could be disposed of within the time limit fixed by this Court. Therefore, the Additional District and Sessions Court - V, Ernakulam is directed to dispose of Crl.A.No.595 of 2024 within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this judgment The Original Petition is disposed of as above.
