JUDGMENT
The writ petition is filed with the following prayers.
“i) issue a Writ of Certiorari or any other Writ, Order or Direction to quash Exhibits P6, P10, P13, P16 and P19;
ii) declare that the petitioner is fully entitled to receive social security pension in terms of Exhibit P1 and Exhibit P9 enquiry report;
iii) issue a Writ of mandamus or any other writ, order or direction directing 4th respondent to implement Exhibits P8, P12, P15, P17 and P18 forthwith;
iv) dispense with filing of the translation of vernacular documents;
and v) such other writ, order or direction as this Honorable Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.”
2. The respondents have produced Ext.R4(a), which shows that a decision has been taken by the panchayat, finding the petitioner eligible for the benefits claimed.
Under such circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the fourth respondent panchayat to take further steps pursuant to Ext.R4(a) to implement the same and to grant the benefits at the earliest.
