J U D G M E N T
The petitioner has filed this captioned writ petition, pointing out that her husband, Manoj Kumar, who was employed with the 2nd respondent-Bank, passed away while in service. Therefore, the petitioner seeks appointment under the Compassionate Appointment Scheme. The petitioner has further stated that the Bank was insisting on a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the 3rd respondent herein—the minor son of the deceased from his first marriage—and that such insistence by the Bank was without any justification.
2. A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the respondent-Bank pointing out that later NOC has already been obtained from the 3rd respondent, and same has been produced. On the basis of the NOC issued as above, the petitioner's claim for appointment under the Compassionate Appointment Scheme is being considered by the respondent-
Bank.
3. Today, the learned counsel for the Bank has pointed out that the application is being considered by the HR Department of the respondent-Bank.
In view of the aforesaid submission, I dispose of this writ petition, directing the respondent-Bank to take a decision on Ext.P7 application, as expeditiously as possible, at any rat
