IN THE HIGH COURT OF KERALA AT ERNAKULAM
BECHU KURIAN THOMAS, J
K SIVANANDHAN – Appellant
Versus
STATE OF KERALA FOOD AND CIVIL SUPPLIES DEPARTMENT – Respondent
JUDGMENT
The main relief sought for by the petitioner is for disbursement of the amount covered by Ext.P2 towards procurement of paddy from the petitioner. Other contentions have also been raised regarding the claim for disbursement of the amount.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since during the pendency of the writ petition amounts due to the petitioner under Ext.P2 have already been paid by the 2nd respondent, nothing further survives for consideration in this writ petition. It is however submitted that the questions raised in the writ petition may be left open.
In view of the above submission and having heard the respective counsel, I am satisfied that this writ petition has become infructuous.
Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous leaving open all contentions.
