J U D G M E N T

Dated this the 31^st day of January, 2026 The petitioner is the mother of convict, who is undergoing life imprisonment at Central Prison & Correctional Home, Tavanur. The petitioner moved an application for ordinary leave/parole before the 4^th respondent. Exhibit P1 is the representation. The 4^th respondent gave Exhibit P2 reply to Exhibit P1 stating that Exhibit P1 representation has already been forwarded to the 3^rd respondent.

2. Hence, the 3^rd respondent is directed to take a decision on Exhibit P1 representation based on the recommendation of the 4^th respondent regarding grant of parole to the son of the petitioner in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

Accordingly, the writ petition (criminal) is disposed of.
