J U D G M E N T

Dated this the 31st day of January, 2026 The petitioner is the mother of convict, who is undergoing life imprisonment at Central Prison & Correctional Home, Tavanur. The petitioner moved an application for ordinary leave/parole before the 4th respondent. Exhibit P1 is the representation. The 4th respondent gave Exhibit P2 reply to Exhibit P1 stating that Exhibit P1 representation has already been forwarded to the 3rd respondent.

2. Hence, the 3rd respondent is directed to take a decision on Exhibit P1 representation based on the recommendation of the 4th respondent regarding grant of parole to the son of the petitioner in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.

Accordingly, the writ petition (criminal) is disposed of.
