JUDGMENT
Dated this the 31st day of January, 2026 The present writ petition has been filed with the following prayers:
“(i) to issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ direction or order direction, commanding the respondents release sufficient funds and conduct repair and maintenance works on Kallar – Mankulam – Perumbankuthu PWD Road within a time frame to be fixed by this Hon’ble Court;
(ii) issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ direction or order direction, commanding the respondents to report the progress of works implemented on Kallar – Mankulam – Perumbankuthu PWD Road at regular intervals;
(iii) issue a writ of mandamus or other appropriate writ direction or order direction, commanding the respondents to implement the conditions in Ext.P3 and report it to this Hon’ble Court;
(iv) to grant such other reliefs or direction or order as this Hon’ble court deems fit and proper to grant.”
2. When the matter was taken up for consideration today, it was submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that nothing survives in the prayers sought in the writ petition and can be dismissed as infructuous.
Accordingly the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
