Court directed timely resolution of a pending appeal to uphold judicial efficiency.

JUDGMENT

This Original Petition has been filed by the plaintiff in O.S. No.13/2020 on the files of the Sub Court, Hosdurg, challenging the order whereby an application for direction to the respondent to pay the admitted occupational charges from 01/02/2020. The application was rejected by the Court below by Ext.P3 order dated 10/09/2024 finding that the appeal can be heard and disposed of at the earliest. The matter has been pending in this Court from September 2024 and no purpose will be served by retaining the original petition in this Court. In the above circumstances, this Original Petition is disposed of directing the District and Sessions Judge, Kasaragod, to consider and pass orders on A.S.No.17/2023 at the earliest at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Judgment.
