ORDER
This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking regular bail.
2. The applicant is the accused in Crime No.1196/2025 of Chengannur Police Station, Alappuzha District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 77 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 14 (2) of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act .
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 20.09.2025 at about 07:00 a.m., while the survivor aged 15 years was taking a bath in the bathroom attached to her house situated at Vettipeedika Junction, Karakkattu Muri in Mulakkuzha Village, the applicant/accused peeped into her bathroom and also recorded nude visuals of her private acts in his mobile phone for the satisfaction of his lust and thereby committed the above offences.
4. I have heard Adv.Yesma D.Elavanthara, the learned counsel for the applicant and Sri.M.C.Ashi, the learned Senior Public Prosecutor. Perused the case diary.
