JUDGMENT
Petitioners had completed the B.D.S. Course from the Dental College, Pariyaram having joined in the year 2018-2019. They claim that they were admitted in the State Merit Quota for the said Course. Petitioners are now, after completing their B.D.S. Course from the College which was subsequently taken over by the Government, doing their Compulsory Rotating Mandatory Internships (CRMI) at the same college. However, the petitioners are not being paid the stipend legally due to them. The writ petition was filed seeking directions for payment of the monthly stipends due to the petitioners.
2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, in similar circumstances, this Court has already directed payment of stipend to similarly placed students who had approached this Court in W.P.(C) No.3731/2024 as well as in W.P.(C) No.11630/2025 and this Court also had directed the State Government to ensure payment of stipend to the students who are doing CRMI/House Surgency after completing the B.D.S. Course.
