JUDGMENT

(Dated this the 30th day of January 2026)

The petitioner has been approached this Court challenging Ext.P5, which is a pre-sale notice issued by the respondent Bank. An interim order was passed by this Court staying the confirmation of sale on condition that the petitioner remits Rs. 1 lakh. It is submitted that the sale could not be concluded for want of bidders.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already approached the bank for a One-Time Settlement (OTS) proposal and seeks a direction to the bank to dispose of the same.

If the petitioner has filed an application for availing the OTS scheme, and the same is pending consideration without any orders, the respondent shall take up the application and pass orders and communicate the outcome to the petitioner, taking into account the sum of Rs.1 lakh already deposited as a pre-condition for considering the OTS scheme, within a period of three weeks from today.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
