ORDER
Tr.P(C) No.408 of 2025 has been filed seeking transfer of OP(HMA) No.288 of 2025 pending before the Family Court, Nedumangad to the Family Court, Kollam. The petitioner is the wife of the respondent. She has, along with her children filed Tr.P(C) No.505 of 2024 seeking transfer of OP No.468 of 2024 pending before the Family Court, Nedumangad to the Family Court, Kollam. The respondents entered appearance and submitted that the 2nd respondent in Tr.P(C) No.505 of 2024 is aged and has difficulties to travel to Kollam to conduct the case. Other than the above, no other serious objection is raised against the transfer. Having gone through the records and heard the counsel, I am convinced that sufficient grounds exist for transferring the cases to the Family Court, Kollam.
In the result, the transfer petitions are allowed and OP No.468 of 2024 and OP(HMA) No.288 of 2025 pending before the Family Court, Nedumangad stand transferred to the Family Court, Kollam for disposal. It is made clear that the Family Court, Kollam shall not insist the presence of the 2nd respondent in Tr.P(C) No.505 of 2024 unless it is necessary and in case evidence is to be taken, it may be taken through an A
