Tr.P(C) No.500 of 2025 has been filed by the wife of the respondent seeking transfer of OP.No.1074 of 2023 from Family Court, Ottappalam to Family Court, Palakkad. Tr.P(C) No.503 of 2023 has been filed by the wife of the respondent along with her children seeking transfer of OP No.861 of 2023 on the file of the Family Court, Ottappalam to Family Court, Palakkad. It is submitted that OP No.876 of 2025 seeking dissolution of marriage and OP No.671 of 2024 seeking custody are already pending before the Family Court, Palakkad. The respondent entered appearance and contended that there is no requirement for any transfer from Ottappalam to Palakkad and no particular difficulty has been pointed out. Since admittedly two cases are pending before the Family Court, Palakkad this Court is of the view that all the cases should be consolidated and heard at one court. It is all the more so since one of the cases already pending before the Palakkad court is one filed by the respondent herein.

In the above circumstances, the transfer petitions are allowed and OP Nos.1074 of 2023 and 861 of 2023 pending before the Family Court, Ottappalam stand transferred to Family Court, Palakkad to be hear
