JUDGMENT
Petitioner apprehends threat to his life from respondents 3 and 4 and hence he has approached this Court seeking police protection.
2. Though notice to respondents 3 and 4 have been served, they have not entered appearance.
3. The learned Government Pleader, upon instructions, submitted that petitioner and the 4th respondent were in a relationship and when the 3rd respondent insisted on a marriage, petitioner backed out. Thereafter, though a crime was registered against the petitioner, the victim has refused to give any statement against the petitioner. It is also stated that other than registration of the crime, there is no reason for any apprehension of threat from respondents 3 and 4.
4. The circumstances mentioned as revealed from the pleadings in the writ petition as well as the submission of the learned Government Pleader indicates that a crime has already been registered against the petitioner. However, the victim has refused to give any statement against the petitioner. Consider
