Headnote:The petitioners in Crl.M.C No. 695 of 2020 sought to discontinue proceedings as the matter was rendered infructuous. The court observed that the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted this, and based on this, the court allowed the Crl.M.C to stand closed. The final order was made on 30.01.2026.

ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the Crl.M.C need not be continued, since the matter has become infructuous.

Recording the aforesaid submission, the Crl.M.C stands closed.
