JUDGMENT

The above Writ Petition (C) is filed with the following prayers:

"i) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other writ, order or direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on Ext. P5 representation after calling for records/reports from the 3rd and 4th respondents within a time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

ii) To dispense with the production of the translation of vernacular documents. iii) Issue such other writ, order or direction as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

2. The main prayer in this Writ Petition is to consider Ext.P5 representation by the 2nd respondent.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader.

4. After hearing both sides, I think the prayer of the petitioners can be allowed.

Therefore, this Writ Petition is disposed of in the following manner:

The 2nd respondent is directed to consider Ext.P5, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
