O R D E R
This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking regular bail.
2. The applicant is the accused No.1 in Crime No.584/2025 of Beypore Police Station, Kozhikode District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 22 (c) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act , 1985.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 15.08.2025 at 11.50 p.m., the applicant and accused no. 2 were found in possession of 236.080 grams of MDMA in a car bearing registration No. KL-18AA3099 at Mathottam- Chakkirikkaduparambu Road in Beypore, and accused no. 2 ran away from the spot. Thus, the accused committed the aforementioned offences.
