Headnote:This Crl. M.C. was initiated under Section 482 of the CrPC, 1973 to quash the FIR in Crime No.720/2020 of Ochira Police Station. The police investigation was completed and the case is pending before the Fact Track Special Court (PoCSO) as S.C No.1652 of 2021. Thus, the Crl. M.C has become infructuous and was dismissed.

Result: The Crl.M.C is dismissed as infructuous.

ORDER

Dated this the 03rd day of February, 2026 The petitioner, who is the 2nd accused in Crime No.720 of 2020 of Ochira Police Station has filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure , 1973, seeking to quash Annexure – A1 FIR involved in the above crime.

2. The learned Public Prosecutor, upon instructions, submitted that the Police already completed the investigation and filed final report on 13.05.2020 and that the said case is now pending before the Fact Track Special Court (PoCSO), Karunagappally, as S.C No.1652 of 2021.

In the light of the above submission, this Crl.M.C. has become infructuous. Accordingly, the Crl.M.C is dismissed as infructuous.
