JUDGMENT Dated this the 29th day of January, 2026 The petitioner, who has retired from the service of the

1st respondent, is seeking release of terminal benefits with statutory interest.

2. The 1st respondent is admitting the liability.

However, it is stated that they do not have sufficient funds to pay and are dependent on the Government providing necessary funds.

3. The counsel for the petitioner has placed before me a letter issued by the Principal Secretary, wherein it is stated that a sum of ₹6 Crores has been allocated as budgetary allocation to the 1st respondent-Company for the purpose of effecting such payments.

Since the liability is not disputed, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to pay the amount due to the petitioner by way of terminal benefits along with statutory interest, in terms of the seniority of claims, at the earliest, at any rate, within four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this judgment.
