This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking regular bail.

2. The applicant is the accused No.2 in Crime No.827/2025 of Peechi Police Station, Thrissur District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 118(1), 118(2), 103(1) and 49 r/w Section 3(5) of The Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhitha,2023 and Section 92 (e) of The Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016 .

3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 29.08.2025 at 08:00 p.m., at the house of Poovassery Sreejith, Kallidukku Moolamkode, accused Nos. 1 to 3 in furtherance of their common intention to commit the murder of the deceased Pramod, who is a differently abled person, brutally manhandled him with a weapon by inflicting serious injuries and severe bleeding. As a result of the serious injuries inflicted, Pramod succumbed to death while undergoing treatment at Medical College Hospital, Thrissur and thereby committed the offences.
