This application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 (for short, BNSS ), seeking regular bail.
2. The applicant is the accused No.4 in Crime No.705/2024 of Mannarkkad Police Station, Palakkad District. The offences alleged are punishable under Sections 20 (b)(ii)(C) and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 04.07.2024 at 13:15 hours, accused No. 1 was found in possession of 40.918 kg of ganja for sale at the residence of his sister, Naseema, near A.U.P. School, Payyanedam, Pallikkunnu four cent road, Mannarkkad Taluk.
